Mayor Says Theatre Is a Work in Progress 
 
The Mayor of the City of Cordell said that not all the digital projection equipment in the Washita Theatre is usable. Mayor Alex Damon said it is something that is still a work in progress and that he hopes to have the Theatre back up and running within a month.

 

 News 9 Robin Marsh Coming to SWOSU 
 
SWOSU’s Chapter of the American Association of University Women is hosting its spring luncheon on Tuesday featuring special guest speaker, Robin Marsh of News 9. The luncheon is planned for 12 noon in the East Ballroom of the Memorial Student Union. Tickets are $15 and are on sale in Room 205 of the SWOSU Administration Building.

 

 Ridley Retirement Celebration Set for Monday 
 
The deadline to purchase tickets for a retirement celebration for long-time transportation executive Gary Ridley is Friday. A dinner honoring Ridley will be held Monday at 6pm in the Memorial Student Center Ballroom at SWOSU in Weatherford. Ridley is retiring as the Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority in March. He will remain Secretary of Transportation. RSVP for the event by calling the Office of SWOSU President Randy Beutler. Tickets are $17 per person.
